After you create a new report or open an existing report, you are then able to design that report.

To change the report display to design mode, allowing you change the appearance of your report, select the Design button in the toolbar. |

Whilst in design mode, you can return to preview mode, at any point to review how your changes have effected the appearance of your report by pressing the Preview button in the toolbar. |

The report sections panel represents different sections of a report, to which you can add fields and items from the tools panel. The size of a section will effect the appearance of your report. Reports can contain the following sections:

The fields panel displays all of the fields available in the query that can be added to your report.

Report Explorer The report explorer allows you to view and select each report section and each object they contain.
