Adding parameter values to a report

Parameters allows you to add the values entered as required fields when the query was run to the report. See below for details on how to add, edit and delete parameters whilst in design mode in the report designer.

 

 

Adding a Parameter

 

Select the parameters button from the Tools Panel.

Draw the parameter on to a section of the report.

Select the parameter you want to add to your report, and press OK to finish.

Resize and format the parameter as required.

Editing a Parameter

 

Select the parameter in the sections panel, press the right mouse button and select Edit from the drop down menu.

Deleting a Parameter


 

Select the parameter in the sections panel, then either press the delete key, or press the right mouse button and select delete from the drop down menu.
