Follow the steps below to define the output format of a numeric field.

Opening the format dialog box

To open the Format Dialog Box, select the object that contains the text you want to format in the sections panel, press the right mouse button and select Format.

Select the Output Format tab, select Number in the format Category, then select the number of decimal places you wish to display, how negative numbers should be displayed and whether numbers include decimal separators.
