The Task Options screen allows you to create and manage tasks for the DataPA Scheduler. Use the treeview on the left hand side to select whether you are viewing scheduled tasks, or unscheduled tasks. The listview on the right hand side displays all tasks for your selected type. For scheduled tasks, it also displays when the task is scheduled, the next time it will run, and the tasks current status. Task properties allow you to run a batch file or executable before or after the task is completed.
The following actions are available from the task options screen:

Adding a new task To Add a new task, select File-->Add New Task. The new task will be added to the list of unscheduled tasks. |

Deleting a task To delete a task, select the task in the listview, then select File-->Delete this task. You will be prompted to confirm the action before the task is deleted. |

Renaming a task To rename a task, select the task in the listview, then select File-->Rename task. Edit the name of the task in the listview, press Enter to confirm your change. |

Scheduling a task To schedule a task, select an unscheduled task in the listview, then select File-->Schedule this task. This will open the Schedule Task window. |

Unscheduling a task To unschedule a task, select a scheduled task in the listview, then select File-->Unschedule this task. |

Re-Scheduling a task To change the scheduling of a task, select a scheduled task in the listview, then select File-->Re-Schedule this task. This will open the Schedule Task window. |

Running a task now To run a task instantly, select a scheduled task in the listview, then select File-->Run task now. |

Task Properties To edit a task properties to define any batch files or executables to be run before or after your task is completed, select a scheduled task in the listview, then select File-->Task Properties. This will open the Task Properties window. |
