The Mail Options screen allows you to view and edit options related to emails sent by the DataPA Scheduler.
SMTP Server The SMTP Server field allows you to enter the network name or IP address of a server on your network that hosts a SMTP Server. This SMTP Server will be used by the DataPA Scheduler to send emails.
SMTP Port The SMTP Port field allows you to enter the port number of which the DataPA Scheduler should communicate with the SMTP Server.
Senders Name The senders name field allows you to enter the name that will appear as the senders name in any emails sent by the DataPA Scheduler.
Use SMTP Authentication This checkbox indicates that SMTP Authentication is required to send mail. If selected the SMTP User Name and Password fields become enabled and required.
Use SSL This checkbox indicates that SSL encryption should be used when communicating with the SMTP Server. This may be required by the email server especially public ones like office365.com and gmail.com. This is off by default.
SMTP User Name The SMTP user name field allows you to enter the name required for SMTP authentication.
SMTP Password The SMTP password field allows you to enter the password required for SMTP authentication.
Senders Email Address The senders email address field allows you to enter the email address that will appear as the senders name in any emails sent by the DataPA Scheduler.
Email Body The Email Body field allows you to enter text that will appear as the email body on any emails sent by the DataPA scheduler. You can use the identifiers listed below in your text, each of which will be replaced with the appropriate value by the DataPA Scheduler when the email is created.
