Using the Dashboard Designer Ribbon

In the Dashboard Designer you can click on the 'Analytics Engine' button on the Application Settings Tab of the Ribbon in the Dashboard Designer to open the DataPA Analytics Engine Screen, shown below. If the menu option is not available you do not have permission to modify the setup.

Using the Excel Addin Ribbon

In the Excel Addin, you can click on the Analytics Engine button in the DataPA OpenAnalytics tab on the Ribbon

Using the Outlook Bar

In the DataPA Report Designer and Scheduler interfaces you can open the DataPA Analytics Engine screen from the Outlook Bar. Click on 'Analytics Engine' to open the setup screen. If it isn't visible try first Clicking on 'Setup'. If Setup is not visible you do not have Permissions to Modify the Analytics engine

Using the Menu bar

In the DataPA Report Designer and Scheduler you can open the DataPA Analytics Engine screen from the Menu Bar.

Clicking on 'Analytics Engine', available from the Setup Menu, will open the DataPA Analytics Engine Screen, shown below. If the menu option is not available you do not have permission to modify the setup.

The DataPA Setup Screen is comprised of the following objects:-

•	a Ribbon, with options to :-

o	Create a New System,

o	Create a New Link,

o	Create a New Lookup

o	Create a New Subject,

o	Save changes,

o	Delete a Selected Object

o	Import or Export Systems, Links or Subjects

o	Clone a Subject

o	View Subjects using the Subject Explorer

o	Update Lookups

a System , Link , Lookup and Subject Treeview
The Treeview allows the user to select the object that is displayed the Configuration area where it can be amended, The Tree view has a Filter then can limit the list based on entered text and a Dropdown allowing the the selection of what data to Filter on

•	and a Display/Configuration area where the Setup Information can be viewed and changed.

Selecting an Item will display the Items's Properties in the Display/Configuration area.

In the example to the right the System Details are being displayed.

Informational Warning Icons are displayed when DataPA determines a System, Subject, Link or Lookup has an potential issue.

The detail of the warning is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Selecting the Type will display a grid displaying all the Items of the Type

In the example to the right all the Lookups are being displayed.
